To that end, the EUT Architect, as a member of the Architecture team, is responsible for researching and evaluating new end point and virtual desktop technologies, software and operating systems, making technology recommendations, providing guidance and strategic direction while developing Mission desktop image standards. Working closely with Technical Analysts and a team of Architects from other technical disciplines including: Network, Unified Communications, Mobility, Infrastructure, and Innovation, they provide architectural designs that meet specified business design requirements that scale to an enterprise level. The EUT Architect develops detailed technical design documentation and solution specifications that are delivered to the engineering build team for implementation. The EUT Architect will continually evaluate recommendations from Quality Analysts and the Operations Center for improvements to the design of existing systems.
